A Word From A Maine State Rep

Karen Gerrish, Maine State Representative out of Lebanon voices frustration about what is currently happening while in session. No doubt this a symbolic microcosm of what occurs all across the country and also in DC on a regular basis.  Sad... but also unfair to the American voter who gets short changed by those who would rather play games then participate in a direct vote. Here is what Karen posted this morning on social media...

"I just love that I was on the road at 6 a.m. this morning to do the people's work in the House of Representatives and EVERY SINGLE BILL thus far (up to 5) have been tabled by the Democrats. What a waste of taxpayer money. Republicans are roll calling the tabling motions and losing each time. We have very little time left before statutory adjournment. So here we are to do the people's work but are not doing it."
