Shoud DOJ Head Jeff Sessions Be Fired?

I have been contemplating the possible motives and reasons of why Jeff Sessions recused himself from Mueller's Russian Collusion issue since day one. He really didn't have to.

I've also wondered why he hasn't fired Rod Rosenstein from the get-go knowing he's a Deep State kind of guy.

I've come to several possible conclusions that:

A: Sessions, being a political animal KNEW what was coming re: Russian Collusion and was smart to get the heck out and recuse himself, even if destroyed Donald Trump.

B: He was forced to recuse himself or the Deep State would destroy him and his family.

C: Sincerely thought he should step down because he couldn't be objective due to his support of President Trump during the campaign, etc.

I'm not sure which of the above are true. Or maybe all 3 are.

However, I'm leaning toward the theory that he knew exactly what he was doing. Wanted the position of power badly and didn't care who paid the price for his decision. As long as he could save himself, the heck with anyone else.
