Maine Teacher Asked To Remove Christmas Tree From Classroom
What is our country coming to, when a Bangor, Maine math teacher, who has been decorating her classroom with a Christmas tree for 30 years, was asked by the principal to remove her tree?
Have heard of this happening elsewhere, but never in Maine. Again, as I seem to be saying a lot lately. I'm disgusted....

Update. The school principal decided to allow the tree back in the classroom saying that it “ultimately highlights the universal nature of holiday celebration” and “is therefore appropriate for the school setting.” In short, it can stay."
